Your 2-day desert adventure begins with an early morning departure at 6:00 AM from your accommodation in Marrakech. We drive through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi N’Tichka Pass, located at an altitude of 2,260 meters. Along the way, we will make several stops to enjoy panoramic views and take memorable photos of the surrounding landscapes. Our journey continues to the ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic fortified villages, where you’ll have panoramic view to this historic architecture.
After the view, we travel through the Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley, known for its breathtaking scenery, then continue toward the impressive Todra Gorges—towering rock formations perfect for a short walk and photography. We pass through charming Berber towns such as Tinghir, Tinejdad, and Erfoud, reaching Merzouga by the evening. There, you will begin a peaceful camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, perfectly timed to watch the sunset. Upon arrival at your luxury desert camp, you’ll be welcomed with traditional mint tea, followed by a delicious dinner and an evening of Berber music under the stars. Your tent is fully equipped with modern comforts, including air conditioning for a restful night in the heart of the Sahara.
On Day 2, we wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, we begin the return journey to Marrakech, the drive takes us through the desert town of Alnif, the palm-filled oasis of Nkob, and the lush Draa Valley, known for its ancient kasbahs and date palms. We make a brief stop in Ouarzazate. Before crossing the High Atlas Mountains again via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass. We expect to arrive in Marrakech by early evening, marking the end of an unforgettable desert experience.
