As you leave the Red City behind, the road winds through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, climbing to the spectacular Tizi-N-Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters above sea level. This ancient trading route offers breathtaking views of traditional Berber villages clinging to mountainsides and valleys dotted with ancient kasbahs.

By late morning, you’ll reach the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, an impressive fortified village (ksar) that has served as a backdrop for numerous Hollywood productions. Your guide will lead you through the narrow streets of this ancient mud-brick city, sharing stories of its rich history as a crucial stop along the trans-Saharan trade route.

The afternoon journey continues south along the famous “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” passing through Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and the fragrant Valley of Roses.
