DETAILED ITINERARY:

Day 1: Marrakech → Ait Benhaddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Gorge

Journey Duration: 7-8 hours | Distance: 325 km

Your adventure begins at 8:00 AM with a pickup from your Marrakech hotel. The morning drive takes you through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, ascending the remarkable Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, where panoramic views of serpentine roads and traditional Berber villages await at every turn.

By late morning, you’ll reach the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, an impressive fortified village that has served as a backdrop for numerous Hollywood productions including “Gladiator” and “Game of Thrones.” Your guide will lead you through the intricate alleyways of this 11th-century architectural marvel, explaining the ingenious construction techniques that have allowed it to survive for centuries.

After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” where you’ll visit the Atlas Film Studios. The journey proceeds through the Palm Grove of Skoura, a verdant oasis stretching over 27 kilometers, and the Valley of Roses, where thousands of damascene roses bloom each spring.

Day 2: Dades Gorge → Todra Gorge → Merzouga Desert
