DAY 1 — CITY OF ORIGIN – MARRAKECH

After we arve to Marrakech, collecting our luggage, we will head to the hotel, where we will leave our bags before starting the city visit.

On this first day, we will have time to explore part of the city center on foot while getting to know all the members of the group. We will enjoy a spectacular sunset over Jemaa el-Fnaa square and have dinner together before returning to the hotel.

DAYS 2 & 3 — MARRAKECH

Marrakech is a unique city, completely different from any other. Visiting Marrakech is a new and fascinating experience: the colors, flavors, and scents you feel from the moment you arrive will stay with you long after you return home.

With our coordinator, we will spend these days visiting the city’s most important landmarks. We will visit Jemaa el-Fnaa, where snake charmers, street vendors, locals, and tourists come together to experience the true essence of Marrakech.

We will bargain in the souks in search of the perfect deal, admire the architecture of the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, and the Saadian Tombs.

We will stroll through parks and gardens, enjoy the shade of the Menara Gardens, and let ourselves be carried away by the peace and beauty of the Majorelle Garden, once owned by Yves Saint Laurent and considered an oasis of blue and green in the heart of the city.

Above all, we will immerse ourselves in the local culture: drinking traditional mint tea, tasting the best Moroccan pastries in the city, and eating in local restaurants rarely visited by tourists.

Singles Escape to Marrakech DAY 4 — MARRAKECH – CITY OF ORIGIN

After breakfast, free time until check-out and return flight to the city of origin.

Health

No vaccinations are mandatory for travel to Morocco.

However, you may wish to consult any authorized International Vaccination Centres for further advice.

Insurance

Travel assistance insurance is included in the trip.

Optionally, you may purchase additional insurance that includes cancellation coverage. This must be requested at the time of payment of the deposit, provided it is made at least 15 days before the departure date.

Prices and conditions for the insurance can be found in the Insurance Terms

Groups

Departures are operated as exclusive singles groups, subject to the minimum number of participants being reached.

Guide

Local Spanish and English-speaking driver for transfers and road transport. Spanish-speaking guide for visits and excursions.

Recommended Luggage

We recommend bringing light clothing for daytime and something warmer for the evenings, especially in inland areas, the south, and for travel between September and March.

Accommodation

Accommodation is in well-located 4-star city hotels, comfortable but without luxury standards, and generally suitable for all travellers.

When booking, you may request a “shared room” option to avoid the single supplement. However, until the group is confirmed, this service cannot be guaranteed, as it depends solely on whether another participant also requests to share a room. Priority will be given based on the date the deposit is received.

First Aid Kit

As with any trip, we recommend preparing a basic travel first-aid kit with essential medication: for headaches, stomach issues, plasters, sunscreen, and after-sun lotion.

Don’t forget to bring your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), as it can be very useful in case of any serious medical issue.

Currency

The Moroccan currency is the dirham (Dh).
(1 EUR ≈ ~10 MAD)

Banknotes: 10, 50, 100, and 200 dirhams
Coins: 1, 5, 10, and 20 dirhams
Also 5, 10, 20, and 50 centimes coins

Payment Methods

Amounts equivalent to 50,000 dirhams or more must be declared upon arrival.

Credit cards are generally accepted in major hotels, boutiques, and restaurants.

You can check exchange rates at http://www.xe.com/ucc/es

Tipping

Tipping is not mandatory, but it is increasingly common due to tourism.

Throughout the trip, people providing services to travellers (guides, drivers, porters, waiters, etc.) generally expect a small financial tip as a token of appreciation.

Time Difference

Current time in Marrakech:
12:36 — Thursday, May 14, 2026

Morocco is in the Greenwich Mean Time zone (UTC). This means it is generally 1 hour behind Spain in winter and 2 hours behind in summer. However, daylight saving time is not applied consistently every year, as it is a political decision. When summer time is applied, the time zone becomes UTC+1.

Climate

The climate in Morocco varies depending on the region. Along the coast, winters are mild and humid and summers moderately hot, while inland areas experience greater temperature contrasts.

A Mediterranean climate prevails along the coast, a subtropical climate in the south, and a continental climate in the mountainous regions. Summers are warm, and the most pleasant temperatures are found above 1,500 metres of altitude.

Snow appears as early as October in the peaks of the Rif and Atlas mountains, making spring and autumn the most suitable seasons to visit the lower massifs, the Middle Atlas, and the Rif.
