This Casablanca mosque is Africa’s largest religious site. and the 5th largest in the world. Its minaret, at 210 metres (689 ft), is the tallest in the world. Completed in 1993, the mosque was designed by French architect Michel Pinseau and built by Bouy
The mosque can accommodate up to 105,000 worshippers., including 25,000 inside the prayer hall and 80,000 in the exterior grounds, making it one of the most impressive religious sites in the world.
